Albert Lopez, Vice President of Retail Leasing & Sales, represented the seller in the successful sale of a fully built-out restaurant property located at Monte Vista Avenue and 1-10 with excellent visibility in Montclair, California. The transaction closed in March of 2020.

The 7,423-square-foot freestanding building was previously occupied by an Acapulco Mexican Restaurant that ceased operations in late 2018. The property is located within the Montclair Entertainment Plaza and directly adjacent to Montclair Place, a recently renovated 1.2 million-square-foot regional mall anchored by Nordstrom, Macy’s, JCPenney, Barnes & Noble, and a 12-screen AMC Theatre.

The seller was a private Los Angeles County based investor. The buyer, Asahi One Spot, Inc., brings significant restaurant experience, having previously owned and operated multiple sushi restaurant concepts throughout the Inland Empire.
